The Buzz: An adaptation of the classic video game platformer written by the game's writers and voiced by the game's voice actors? Could this be the rarest of things, the first video game movie to score a Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes?

What We Got: It may not be the worst video game movie of all time, but it sure as hell might be the dullest. If you played this summer's immense Ratchet and Clank PS4 game, leave this well alone, because it recycles a lot of the cut-scenes from the game (or rather, the game uses clips from the movie but for some reason came out before it)...and those cut-scenes were easily the worst part about the game.

Despite having so much going for it on paper, the plot's boring, the jokes are juvenile and mostly witless, and Sylvester Stallone's performance as a robot might be the weirdest cameo of the year. At least Paul Giamatti gave a spirited performance as Chairman Drek, but that's really about it.
