The One With Matt LeBlanc and the Monkey.

Jack Cooper (LeBlanc) is an aspiring baseball player who, after flopping on the field one too many times, is traded down to a minor league team. He tries to keep his spirits up, but... did we mention that one of his teammates is a chimpanzee? When their coach decides to have the pair room together, Jack and Ed are forced to learn to live and work together. Hijinks, as they say, ensue.

A baby-faced LeBlanc gives it his best, but Ed frankly seems like the sort of project you'd have seen Joey Tribbiani appear in on Friends itself. The plot is a nineties cliche, none of the comedy lands and the monkey suit looks terrible. Sadly, Ed is no in-joke, and this crude, otherwise unmemorable comedy is only really remembered for the unfortunate fact that it stars Matt LeBlanc in its lead (not counting the monkey) role.
