12 Terrible Recent Movies Destined To Become Cult Classics

Why It's Terrible: A horror movie about a doll that apparently comes to life... that takes itself weirdly seriously. That's always a recipe for disaster: just compare how beloved the Child's Play movies are (the good ones, anyway) to how reviled self-regarding nonsense like Annabelle is.

What should've been a fun B-movie is instead a depressingly straight-faced horror dud rife with predictable jumps and lame PG-13 scares.

Why It'll Be A Cult Classic: For one, it stars The Walking Dead's lovely Lauren Cohan and she's much better in it than the film actually deserves. Plus, the kitschy premise will no doubt appeal to younger viewers who perhaps have never even heard of Chucky, and the absolutely bonkers final plot twist will probably go down a treat with them too.

Nobody over the age of about 17 will want anything to do with it, but the kids'll love it.
