13 Mind-Blowing Facts You Didn't Know About Jason Voorhees

6. Alice Was Meant To Be Jason's Recurring Final Girl

The original Friday the 13th movie's Alice wasn't always meant to be done in at the very beginning of Part 2. Oh no, Alice was supposed to be in it for the long haul. She was planned as the Sydney to Jason's Ghostface, the Ripley to his Xenomorph, the Tom to his Jerry - but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Unfortunately, actor Adrienne King suffered an overzealous fan stalking her that resulted in her taking a hiatus from acting, one that meant her role in Friday the 13th was forfeit in the aftermath.

King said of the situation herself: "When Part 2 had come, a stalker was already present in my world. I couldn’t handle doing another film and dealing with what no one else seemed to want to deal with... I had been through something that had really clicked inside of me that I couldn’t handle, and I guess it was something about being on camera. It kind of really screwed me up for a long time."

Her mark wasn't forgotten though, and Jason has clearly had a thing for blondes ever since.
