13 Movies Sure To P*ss Off Fanboys In 2015

1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The Movie: J.J. Abrams directs the seventh entry into the Star Wars movie franchise, bringing Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher back into the fold with a group of young new heroes, played by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. Why The Fanboys Will Hate It: Because even if it's a significant improvement over the prequel movies (which it almost certainly will be), Star Wars fans are obscenely picky, and also obsessively protective of the original three movies. Even if it's as good as the original trilogy, nostalgia will likely blind the fans too much, and they'll deem it inferior. Plus, just look at all this pre-release fuss over the freaking cross-guard on the Sith's lightsaber: one suspects it's just the tip of the iceberg. Will It Succeed Anyway?: No question. It might break $2 billion at the box office, and if Attack Of The Clones can score 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, then the sky's pretty much the limit for this one critically. Which upcoming movies do you suspect are going to irritate the fanboys the most? Shout it out in the comments!
