Release Date: February 13th The Plot: Pretty much non-existent. A college graduate, Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), ends up entangled with young business honcho Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), whereby the two embark on a relationship focused almost entirely on BDSM rather than romance. Why It's Awful: There's really not much more to it than that: the two meet, they get sexy, Anastasia has doubts about it all, and the book ends. If you want to check out the "intricacies" of the novel for yourself, there's a handy summary out there, but frankly it just makes one curious how talented director Sam Taylor-Johnson is going to tease a 2-hour movie out of what is essentially just terrible Twilight fan fiction with lots of kinky sex thrown in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfZWFDs0LxA Sure to be one of the most maligned movies of 2015 short of an absolute miracle, it's still destined to print money and prove that when sex is involved, who even really needs a story?
