15 Actors Who Should Be Cast In The MCU's Fantastic Four

11. John Krasinski - Reed Richards

If Emily Blunt is cast as Susan Storm, then casting John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic is a prerequisite. First of all, the two of them - you know, being married - have chemistry and have already shown just how well they can work together with A Quiet Place and its sequel. Secondly, and most importantly, Krasinski and Reed Richards are a match made in heaven.

He has the look. He has the popularity. He has the acting chops. Thanks to A Quiet Place and his turn as Jack Ryan, he's also already managed to prove that he's more than just Jim from The Office. He's a capable actor and leading man, an increasingly fantastic action star and a solid film maker. After directing A Quiet Place, how cool would it be if her took the role of the leader of the Fantastic Four and made the film, too?

Krasinski was one of the original choices to play Captain America, too, going as far as a screen test (in costume) before Evans came along. He's missed out on a big role once; he deserves a chance to prove himself.

And because he's so beloved and instantly likeable, he could balance the intellectual arrogance and likeability of the scientist/hero with great ease. Honestly, it seems meant to be.
