1. Spalko & Mac's Telepathy Talk - Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull
This deleted scene is regarded by most fans - at least, the fans who are both aware of it and actually care - as the most significant cut from the whole of Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, given that it is an entire scene as opposed to a small moment. Looking at the details of said deleted scene, it might have been something of an ill-judged decision to have removed it outright, given that it sheds more light on the characters of Irina Spalko and George "Mac" McHale, who - for all intents and purposes - felt paper-thin. In the scene - which would have taken place in a car as the Russians are using the giant jungle-cutting device to clear a path through the Amazonian wilderness - would have seen Spalko admiring the Crystal Skull from the front seat, wondering why she was unable to "communicate" with it when both Indy and Dr. Harold Oxley were. At this point, Mac - riding in the back seat - questions the existence of psychic powers in general and Spalko relates a story to him about an experiment in which a mother rabbit was able to tell that her offspring had died even though they were separated by miles. At his probing, Spalko would have then answered a question that Mac was thinking in his head, thus proving that she had some psychic ability herself (not made clear in the final film). It's a shame that this scene was cut; the only proof of its existence comes from a photograph taken from an Indiana Jones trading card and a scene in the comic adaptation, but this would have been a nice moment of characterisation and exposition all in one.
