15 Best Trailers For 2017 Movies

If you’re looking for a mindlessly entertaining blockbuster this summer then War for the Planet of the Apes probably isn’t for you. Going by its trailer it looks to be a pretty sombre movie, but if dystopian movies featuring epic battles between apes and humans boils your kettle, it’s a must-see.

Picking up a couple of years after the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, we see our favourite super-advanced ape Caesar (a motion-captured Andy Serkis again) seemingly dealing with the fallout of his frenemy Koba’s actions with an all-out war declared against he and his simian cohorts by an army led by a ruthless Colonel played by Woody Harrelson.

There’ll most likely be more trailers to come, so not too much is given away but we do see the return of some more ape characters including kindly orangutan Maurice and there’s the introduction to a mysterious young girl whose bound to add some sort of emotional arc to Caesar’s journey.
