5. The King

Fury 2014
Netflix

If anyone was in need of more proof of just how big Timothee Chalamet is destined to become, he went ahead and starred in one of Netflix's most recent and ambitious movies.

Joined by Joel Edgerton (who also penned the script), Robert Pattinson, Lily-Rose Depp and Sean Harris, Chalamet stars as King Henry V of England, forced to take the throne after the untimely death of his father and brother. Forced to embrace his father's war policies, something he has long avoided, Henry marches against the French and must prove himself to his followers and himself.

Epic in scope, The King features some of cinema's strongest battle scenes, expertly filmed and crafted, and includes masterful performances from its lead cast - particularly Chalamet, Pattinson and Harris.

It's a classic tale of a young man rising to the occasion and accepting his destiny, and watching Henry grow from uninterested, careless lay-about to brave and fearless leader is an absolute joy. Pair that with great cinematography and a compelling romantic sub-plot, and what you've got is a war film well worth a watch.
