14. The Producers Actually Let Madonna Write A Bond Theme

This is far from an attempt to completely run Madonna down, but seriously, wouldn't it have made sense to let Madonna write a Bond song in her prime, like in the 80s or early 90s, when she was still consistently churning out classic hits, just as recently happened with Adele for Skyfall? Instead, the Bond producers waited until her iconic stature had faded somewhat (or, at least, few but her most devoted fans could actually name her latest singles) to have her write a song, an infamous number for Die Another Day that's generally regarded as one of if not the worst Bond song ever written (closely followed by Jack White and Alicia Keys' Another Way to Die for Quantum of Solace). The over-produced electronic tune is more irritating than entertaining to listen to, yet had EON caught Madge during her classic phase, they could have had a stonking Bond theme on their hands...
