Yes, Titanic II. How? What? Why?

In Titanic II, a new version of the Titanic goes on the exact same voyage as the original ship on the exact same day, and lo and behold that doesn't work out for anyone. This time the disaster is due to global warming, as a chunk of ice falls and creates a tsunami, sending an iceberg flying right into the boat. By the way, the movie is really going to make sure you understand the evils of global warming before it's over.

After that, the boat is hit by a second tsunami, finally sinking it and drowning everyone on board. There are a few survivors, and one of them is actually crushed by a giant door in a scene that is either one of the worst things ever or kind of brilliant. 

It's hilarious how unprepared everyone is for the fact that the Titanic could maybe sink, having a bunch of boats on deck that are apparently just for show and don't actually float. And just sinking isn't dramatic enough, so they add in some explosions and have the engine blow up at one point. 

Maybe in an attempt to mirror the original Titanic, at the end the two main characters find scuba gear but only enough for one person, so guy sacrifices himself. He's not quite as gallant as Leonardo DiCaprio, but hey, they tried their best.
