15 Hilariously Awful SyFy Original Movies

In addition to hybrid movies, SyFy also has a track record of being cuckoo for movies where two monsters fight one another.

In this one, two genetically modified reptiles break out of their cages and roam free. The army is called in to put a stop to the creatures, but naturally everyone is slowly killed as the movie progresses. What's weird is that these are giant, deadly monsters, yet for many of the scenes they're basically sneaking up on people like slasher villains. 

What is this, Jurassic Park 3?

Some of the deaths are fun, although just about all of them look exactly the same: one of the creatures lunges towards a character and bites them. And there's one moment when someone is ripped in half that actually looks surprisingly decent for a movie like this. But cool things like that are balanced out by complete garbage, and for your questionable science moment of the film, they track the two cold blooded creatures using thermal imaging. 

Spoiler alert: Dinocroc wins, sort of. Both monsters end up dead after the last fight, but guess what? They left behind babies, setting up a sequel that presumably every viewer is begging never happens.
