15 Hilariously Awful SyFy Original Movies

Playing into the popularity of the Jersey Shore TV show, this film follows a bunch of annoying knockoffs of the cast (one of the leads is named "Nooki") who exist for no other reason than to be eaten by sharks. Okay, that's kind of an amazing premise.

The plot is your pretty basic shark attack movie: it's a holiday weekend on the Jersey Shore when a bunch of albino bull sharks attack, awakened by some sort of underwater drilling. From there, the sharks eat a bunch of people and that's about it.

It's all pretty ridiculous, although with this one as with Sharknado, you get the sense that everyone involved is in on the joke. That might make it a little less fun, as these movies are usually funnier when they're unintentionally bad, but it's hard not to laugh at moments like Joey Fatone getting eaten by a shark followed by a character yelling "Joey Fatone just got eaten by a shark!" 

There's another moment when a guy is showing off his abs, and at the exact second you're getting really annoyed with him, a shark jumps out of nowhere and bites him right in the chest. If you ever wanted to see a bunch of awful Italian American stereotypes spout terrible dialogue and then get eaten alive, check it out.
