4. Jungle Cruise
Speaking of Disney, they're also gearing up make a movie based off another of their theme-park attractions with 2020's Jungle Cruise. Movies based on rides inherently have a certain stigma attached to them, which Disney have always attempted to alleviate, and the studio's casting of Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in the lead roles certainly went a long way in doing just that.
Jungle Cruise is a movie the company have actually been trying to make for over a decade, with the idea first being floated in 2007, then set to star Tom Hanks and Tim Allen. It took Johnson to be brought on as both the producer and star to get it off the ground though, with the rest of the cast - including Jack Whitehall and Jesse Plemmons - joining the move in early 2018.
It was originally set to release this year, but was pushed until next July. It's a shame that fans will have to wait a little longer, but probably for the best considering Jumanji 2 also drops at the end of 2019, and two jungle-themed adventure films starring The Rock would probably make the box office implode.
