9. Sophie Turner's Jean Grey (X-Men: Apocalypse)

With so many new characters debuting in their respective cinematic universes, it€™s been easy to overlook some established characters who are being brought to life by newcomers. Game of Thrones and the X-Men are going to cross paths now that Sophie Turner (aka Sansa Stark) will play the role of a young Jean Grey. She isn€™t the focal point of Apocalypse (judging by the massive ensemble cast, no one truly is) but the trailer has already alluded to Grey being vulnerable to dark machinations of the world around her. What this means is that we€™re more than likely to get a Dark Phoenix storyline that isn€™t called X-Men: The Last Stand and doesn€™t feature a walking meme or Androgynous Porcupine Person. Is there a redhead who has depicted a tortured soul on a more consistent basis than Turner? For the last five years, Turner has made us feel an unbearable amount of pain and sorrow towards her plight on GOT. Jean Grey's mental state is also extremely susceptible to her surroundings, so her and Stark have a lot in common. Let€™s hope that they also do away with the love triangle between Jean, Scott and Logan this time around. It€™s going to be a little creepy, given the age difference.
