1. Return Of The Jedi – Star Wars: Episode VIII
Part of the excitement of The Force Awakens was seeing the original characters interact with a new generation, but the nature of the story saw that Luke Skywalker was sidelined entirely, meaning he didn’t get much to do. In fact, the only major action he performed was taking off his hood.
Episode VIII will change all that, with Luke set to become Rey’s mentor, while helping stop his bratty nephew Kylo Ren from taking over the galaxy. The moment we’re all waiting for – outside of lightsaber battles and shocking plot twists – is to hear Luke fill us in on what he’s been up to the last thirty years, and how he feels about his nephew’s betrayal.
More than anything, though, it’s just cool to have Mark Hamill back in the series.
