5. Rest In Peace Department

Ripd Jeff Bridges Ryan Reynolds
Universal Pictures

Since 2003, Dark Horse has been publishing Rest In Peace Department. The premise includes a divine police force made up of deceased officers of the law. For 100 years after their death, the officers are dedicated to tracking down less noble individuals who have already expired, but still pose a threat to the living. The series' creative team has included Peter M. Lenkov, Randy Emberlin and Dave Nestelle.

Ten years after the debut of the series, a cinematic released entitled R.I.P.D. premiered. If Chris Evans is the King of the genre, Ryan Reynolds would likely be the Crown Prince - if only his pre-Deadpool credits had fared better off. This one was no exception. Despite its big name cast, the film became a dud that was included on many of the 'worst of the year' lists and was a box office bomb.

I like to think I'm a clever person, but apparently I'm not clever enough to come up with a witty biography.
