15 Worst Movie Moments Of 2017

12. All The Atrocious CGI - Baywatch

One of Baywatch's key set-pieces involves the Baywatch team heading to a burning boat in order to rescue the helpless young women inside.

Though The Rock and Zac Efron fully hurl themselves into the physicality of the scene, their efforts are completely undone by some howlingly awful visual effects work.

From the horrendous CGI fire that wouldn't pass muster in a PS3 game to the blurry, blatant green screen work, the sequence is hilariously unconvincing and looks painfully low-budget for a film that cost almost $70 million to make.

Even the film's semi-cheesy tone doesn't do much to mitigate how cheaply assembled this sequence is. It's honestly tough to remember an action scene from a major Hollywood movie that looked this amateur in recent years.
