16 Brilliant WTF Moments From Kung Fury
10. "Also Starring A Triceratops"
Flash forward again to the present (of 1985), and in a bid to curb the superhero's destructive tendencies (his fight with the rogue arcade machine cost $50m), his walking stereotype of an angry captain tells Fury he's being assigned a new partner.
But instead of your conventional straight-laced square, Fury's new cohort is Triceracop, a well-spoken (British, for some reason) triceratops who prefers his law-making to be done by the books.
The matter of fact way the film plays the fact that he's a dinosaur - i.e. it just completely ignores it - is a beautiful thing. And giving him the air of Niles Crane just adds to the wonderful stupidity of the scene.
