At a special event in late October, Marvel Studios announced their entire MCU Phase Three slate, and boy, is it a doozy or what? The line-up is as such: Captain America: Civil War (6 May 2016), Doctor Strange (4 November 2016), Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (5 May 2017), Thor: Ragnarok (28 July 2017), Black Panther (3 November 2017), Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 (4 May 2018), Captain Marvel (6 July 2018), Inhumans (2 November 2018) and Avengers: Infinity War - Part II (3 May 2019). Few were expecting quite such an extensive array of information, as well as the reveal that Chadwick Boseman will be playing Black Panther, complete with some snazzy concept art. The announcement of The Avengers 3 being split into two parts did prove somewhat controversial, though with no source material being dubiously split in half, hopefully they can deliver a story that justifies two movies.
