13. The Jurassic World Trailer Totally Underwhelms Everyone
In late November, the first trailer for Jurassic World landed online, and amid tremendously high expectations, the reaction was...underwhelming to say the least. The complaints consisted largely of the uneven visual effects, Chris Pratt's seemingly lethargic performance, a TV-esque aesthetic, and the infamous climactic shot in which Pratt's protagonist rides a motorcycle alongside a gang of raptors. Though there's still plenty of effects work to be done on the film and most if not all of these problems might be resolved in the proper context of the film, the trailer nevertheless dropped expectations significantly for the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFinNxS5KN4 Still, that could be a good thing in the long run, and it'd have to be pretty bad to be worse than the previous two movies.
