3. There's No Real Set-Up For Captain America: Civil War
Perhaps the biggest surprise in the whole movie is how little it directly sets up Civil War at the end. Many were expecting that Ultron's massive destruction of Sokovia (including levitating a large part of it into the air and attempting to crash it back down) would lead to the rest of the Avengers, not to mention the world, taking huge issue with Tony Stark, setting in motion the divide that takes place in Civil War. Instead, things are pretty chummy by the end, what with Tony and Steve having a civil, earnest conversation that's not really loaded with any double meanings or foreshadowing. Given what most fans were taught to expect, it's pretty strange how upbeat the ending is, actually.
