20 Absolutely Insufferable Film Characters Who Didn't Deserve THAT

You knew this was coming. Over the decade since Jurassic World came out, many have wondered with bewilderment why Zara (Katie McGrath), a random supporting character, was given such a drawn-out and cruel death scene. 

Zara, the assistant of park director Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), wasn't someone most audience members would've cared for. She failed to look after Claire's nephews as instructed, and McGrath's acting wasn't the best, so she was kind of annoying, but not much more than that. There was nothing about her that necessitated such an OTT death scene that'd normally be reserved for a villain. Well, having said that, few (if any) of the actual human villains in this franchise have been killed off in quite such a vicious manner. 

Here, Zara was tossed about by two Pteranodons and then dropped into the jaws of the park's colossal Mosasaurus. She suffered that long, frightening, and painful demise, and for what? For being bad at her job? 

Apparently, there were deleted scenes that would've established Zara as an obnoxious bridezilla, and if that is indeed the case, those should've been kept in to make this demise feel more earned. Nevertheless, even if those scenes had been kept in, a quicker death would've more than sufficed, and this was far too mean whichever way you cut it.
