Given that it's a Marvel movie, Ant-Man was always bound to be full of Easter Eggs, but the best is the playful way the film hides background details hinting at Hank Pym's experiments. Peyton Reed actually foreshadowed those little in-jokes ahead of release:
"Anytime youre in Hank Pyms beautiful victorian house in San Francisco, you might want to look around the room. You might notice certain details that talk about his history in his experimentation with the Pym Particle. There might be some miniaturized objects all around the room."
The most notable shrunken objects hidden around Pym's house include an aeroplane, a helicopter and furniture. And the most closely linked to Ant-man's lore is the red chair featured above, which calls back to Pym's first appearance in Tales To Astonish, which sees him shrink a chair as an experiment before using his invention on himself.
