Either way the mining of helium-3 as a fuel source is a thing that's actually going on as you read this. Plus, the bunker was designed in a very specific manner to accurately reflect a futuristic design - i.e. in the future we most likely won't lug stuff from Earth to the moon, or other planets, we'd obviously utilise the resources there. Beyond all that nerd stuff, Moon is just a brilliant film. The narrative is pretty sparse and the plot is relatively straightforward, and easy to follow and enjoy - which, y'know, is generally tough to achieve in a movie about clones. At times it's even laugh out loud funny. Plus, Sam Rockwell is always amazing, but he really gets room to flex in Moon - both literally and in the acting sense.
Also...yeah, the guy who plays the robot...we guess he does an okay job. Let's move on, please.
