20 Great Films You Won't Believe Aren't On IMDb's Top 250

1. Toy Story 2

Toy Story 2
Pixar

Rating: 7.9

Out of all the incredible films left off the list, nothing hurts more than Toy Story 2. While there are valid arguments for the first and third films, Toy Story 2 will always be the best of the trilogy.

Toy Story is a classic, but somehow Pixar turned what was originally to be a direct-to-video sequel into another masterpiece that was even better. Toy Story 2 is a Perfect sequel. It ups the spectacle, adds even more depth and fleshes out the characters further, while also retaining everything that audiences loved about the original. To be honest, it might be the single greatest sequel of all time (apologies to Godfather II, Aliens and Empire Strikes Back).

Most of all, Toy Story 2 is a delightful reminder of just how much fun movies can be and it has everything you could ask for. It's got tremendous vocal performances, gorgeous animation, stunning emotional depth, a rich story, phenomenal action sequences, great humor, wonderful characters and, best of all, it's something that will speak to viewers of all ages.

So, yeah, this film's omission from the list is scandalous. Oh well, who needs the IMDb Top 250 anyway?
