When the Christmas slasher was rebooted in 2025, it brought in a modest box office total of $5.5 million, but enjoyed favourable reviews and was a fun watch. It's not going to enter the upper echelons of the genre, but it doesn't need to.
This article certainly isn't suggesting there needs to be as many as four sequels, but at least one more outing seems like a no-brainer, particularly with how the story ended, which left things open to explore what happens next with Pam (Ruby Modine) as the Christmassy killer.
Writer and director Mike P. Nelson has already begun to think about what could happen down the line, teasing in an interview that he has some crazy ideas that both leads are on board with. No official announcement has been made as of yet, but there may well be another enjoyable entry in the series in the coming years.
