20 Terrible 2014 Movies That Should Never Have Happened
11. Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 0% (admittedly with just one review on the site...) How many people even knew that a sixth Wrong Turn movie was in production? In fact, who even knew that the mildly successful 2003 Eliza Dushku-starring horror flick spawned a franchise at all? Like the other four sequels, Last Resort went straight-to-video, and though the original sequel went the comedy horror approach to surprising critical acclaim, this new movie follows the same depressingly serious, boring approach as the other crappy sequels. Despite an abundance of nudity and sex scenes, this is another horrendously dull entry into the series, boasting idiotic, unlikeable characters who audiences will no doubt be rooting for to die. Still, the death scenes are weakly unimaginative and too often rely on CGI assistance, and the only thing most viewers will be left wondering is how much longer this unlikely franchise can keep going. Wrong Turn 7 has yet to be officially announced, so keep your fingers crossed that the series might finally be put in the ground for good.
