Her early roles were always supporting characters or ensemble work - such as James Spader's psychotic girlfriend in Two Days in the Valley or her breakout as Keanu Reeves' troubled wife in The Devil's Advocate. But her first major failure was the last film of legendary Hollywood director John Frankenheimer.
Reindeer Games was blasted in the press as Frankenheimer's worst effort, a convoluted mess of a heist film that wouldn't make logical sense no matter how the script was altered.
But she was excited to take the role simply because she loved Frankenheimer's work. She's since apologized for the film, as has most of the cast.
