20 Things You Didn't Know About The Social Network

By now, everyone knows that Armie Hammer doesn't have an identical twin. But his performance as Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss is so good, it tricked a lot of people into thinking he did.

Some of this was achieved by using simple split-screen technology, but for most scenes Hammer acted alongside a body-double and his face was digitally applied in post-production.

The man who acted as Hammer's double, was Josh Pence, who also cameos as the guy Zuckerberg and Saverin stop from going to the bathroom. In order for the two actors to believably come off as twins, Hammer and Pence were enrolled in a 10 month 'twin boot camp' and it's fair to say it did the trick.

Although we barely see his face, Pence deserves a lot of credit for his chemistry with Hammer, turning what could have been an expensive gimmick, into a faultless performance. Unfortunately for him, Pence's career hasn't quite taken off since The Social Network, although he has made appearances in The Dark Knight Rises, La La Land and The Man In The High Castle.
