Westchester resident Ivy Fahrer decided to up sticks from her New Jersey penthouse and moved into a classy modernist home out in the New York countryside. Then she had it remodelled so it would better resemble the Fortress Of Solitude, the Arctic home of the Man Of Steel she recalled from the Superman comics of her youth. "Malleable material" was installed over the cedar siding so that the walls could be moulded into crazy angles and geometric shapes.
