3. Show Dogs

More awful dog action here as Will Arnett, who is genuinely brilliant in a lot of things (most notably as LEGO Batman) acts alongside some shoddily CGIed dogs armed only with immature toilet jokes and weirdly crude gags that really shouldn't be in a kids film.

Surely the whole point of a movie like this is to cater to young audiences who lack the imagination to seek something better, so why it shoe-horns in material that's wholly inappropriate for them is anyone's guess. Edginess maybe? A means to whip up some controversy perhaps?

Some might say that you can't ever expect much from talking animal pictures, but when The Lion King is probably going to make two billion dollars next year that's no excuse. And there's no excuse for Arnett being anywhere near this.
