The Bear Jew in Tarantino's bloody war epic Inglourious Basterds is of course ridiculously named Donny Donowitz - as if Stan Lee was consulted on what he should be called. He's from Boston and would go on to be pretty much the biggest war hero of all time having killed Nazis with a bat emblazoned with Anne Frank's name and then killing Hitler.
In the alternate timeline that springs from that new ending to the war, his son Lee grows up without his father but rises to the top of Hollywood's power ladder on the back of his heroism, making the film "Comin' Home In A Body Bag" for his fallen father.
