Casting rumours make for great 'what-could-have-been' conversations so when it was revealed that Juliette Lewis may have once landed the role of Lucy Westernra in Francis Ford Coppola's lavish Dracula adaptation instead of Sadie Frost, it makes for interesting reading.

Lewis was at one point an actor to be reckoned with, starring in director Martin Scorsese's (friend of Coppola and fellow 'American New Wave' film maker) Cape Fear and the vampire themed Dusk Til Dawn from Tarantino and Rodriguez. Her character in From Dusk till Dawn had a similar naivety to Lucy, albeit with another American accent to negotiate around.
