4. Ridley Scott Tells The Play-Off Music "Screw You"
Scott gives a passionate speech about how the film has been received and thanks a long list of folks, and just as the cut-off music begins playing he says, "I don't care", and as the music continues to play, he says, "Screw you, OK?", much to the crowd's amusement. It's just as well, because Ridley also offered up a heartfelt tribute to his late brother Tony, and was well worth the extra seconds he "stole" from the HFPA.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
