Up and coming and extremely talented; Rian Johnson is ready for his assault on the big time with Joseph Gordon Levitt starring Looper this year in one of the very few original ideas in the big release cannon. Once more he will bring the faith of having worked with Joseph Gordon Levitt but hes also got the new credentials of handling action and large budgets whilst also writing brilliant dialogue in a dark environment with films like Brick. Without putting too much pressure on the poor man, he could be the next Christopher Nolan with his partiality for writing intelligent, original films and this could be his chance to take it up another level with a new era of The Dark Knight.
