5 Movies-Within-Movies We NEED To See (And 5 That Would Suck)

4. Jaws 19 from Back to the Future Part II Would Probably Suck

In an early scene from this hit sci-fi sequel, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), who has recently time-travelled to October 2015, briefly sees some promotional material for the upcoming Jaws 19. Attacked by a hologram of the eponymous man-eating shark, Marty quips, "The shark still looks fake."

'Directed' by Max Spielberg (admittedly, Steven Spielberg does actually have a son called Max), and advertised with the tagline, "This Time It's Really Really Personal", we suspect that this sequel would be a total critical misfire.

While audiences only see a glimpse of this hypothetical horror film, it's safe to say that the nineteenth movie in this shark series would likely be as terrible as (if not worse than) the most recent real-life installment, Jaws: The Revenge. The fourth film in this otherwise successful franchise, The Revenge was panned by critics and audiences alike and is widely considered one of the worst sequels ever.

While there's a small chance that Jaws 5, 6, 7, and so forth were masterpieces, Jaws 19 would likely follow in the fourth film's footsteps, offering audiences poor special effects, terrible storytelling, and weak performances.
