5 Times Nicolas Cage's Film Meltdowns Worked (And 5 Times They Didn't)

4. Bad: He's Scraping At The Door (Ghost Rider 2, 2011)

With an 18% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, Ghost Rider 2 certainly doesn't deliver much in terms of movie substance but it certainly delivers a whole bunch of iconic Cage moments.

Still struggling with the curse, Johnny Blaze (greatest comic book name ever by the way) has to go toe to toe with Satan in the search of a boy called Danny in hopes to not only save his soul but his own too.

As Cage burns, rides and interrogates his way to finding Danny, the most iconic moment is when he is trying to suppress The Rider within. Much like The Hulk bursting out of Bruce Banner only less green and more fiery.

In this particular interrogation scene, Cage goes full Bobcat Goldthwait as he tries to portray a man being possessed by a leather clad demon. He repeatedly screams that The Rider is scraping at the door and makes it sound like an experimental Nu-metal anthem.

Despite the high stakes and the whole demon-popping-out-of-his-skull thing, Cage still finds moments of calm in between screaming fits in a way that only he can.
