50 Infuriating Horror Movie Characters We All Secretly Wanted To Die

When Ralph Fiennes was in Harry Potter, he played the main antagonist Lord Voldemort, and despite his fantastic work, he wasn't the villain fans hated most. That would be Dolores Umbridge. Ironically, something similar happened in The Menu, where he played insane head chef Julian Slowik. Once again, although Slowik is technically the main antagonist, the character who will really make people's blood boil is Tyler (Nicholas Hoult). 

Tyler is an affluent young foodie who's eager to eat at Julian Slowik's legendary restaurant. From the off, he's evidently an arrogant tosser who claims to know everything about food but is in fact ignorant about it. Slowik proves this when he forces Tyler to cook a meal, one which turns out to be inedible. It is aptly named "Tyler's Bulls**t." 

It gets plenty worse, as it turns out that Tyler was aware Slowik planned to kill his guests and brought along an escort, Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy), as his date, as Slowik didn't allow tables for one. This is an action that even Slowik, no saint himself, is revolted by. Thankfully, Margot does ultimately use her wits to escape alive, but it was a close call. 

As for the scummy Tyler? After Slowik humiliates him, he whispers something in Tyler's ear, and Tyler then goes to hang himself. There'll be no violins for this guy!
