50 Infuriating Horror Movie Characters We All Secretly Wanted To Die
7. Sorority Row - Nearly Everyone
In this weak remake of 1980s slasher The House on Sorority Row (which itself wasn't particularly great), some insanely unlikable sorority girls pay a cheating boyfriend back with a sick prank where he's made to think that he's killed his girlfriend by drugging her. A contrived series of events lead to him killing her for real, and they cover it up. Almost a year later, someone starts killing everyone who knows. That killer is honestly one of the most sympathetic people in the movie.
For starters, the sorority girls are absolute scum. It's sick enough that they hide their friend's body and doom her family to psychological torture, yet before and after that, they're also shown to be back-stabbing, selfish, shallow, and wildly mean-spirited party girls who are awful to pretty much everyone. Even Final Girl Cassidy (Briana Evigan) isn't particularly endearing, while Jessica (Leah Pipes) is loathsome to the point of parody.
What about the other characters? Well, there are bright spots, such as Carrie Fisher's shotgun-toting housemother, but otherwise, nearly everyone the killer goes after is similarly repulsive. Their victims include a string of sleazy, perverted frat-bros, a psychologist who solicits sex from his patients in exchange for drugs, and the man whom the inciting prank was aimed at. He was shown giving his girlfriend what he believed were roofies and was all set to have sex with her while she was apparently unconscious.
Most of these characters get violently murdered. Karma is a b***h, isn't it?
