8 Actors Who Walked Out On Famous Movies
4. Wes Craven - Reservoir Dogs
Returning to the sight of a horror legend being absolutely horrified by what was unfolding in front of them, here's that time Wes Craven - yes, the helmer of A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream, Wes Craven - called time on one particular viewing experience.
The slasher godfather, who wasn't against popping up in front of the camera on occasion too, once found himself faced with the first feature film ever directed by a little known director by the name of Quentin Tarantino. Far from gripping Craven from the get-go and earning an instant fan for life, though, Reservoir Dogs was simply too much for the iconic horror pioneer when watching the flick at the Sitges Film Festival.
In particular, the film's infamous torture scene was said to have been a dealbreaker for many. But Tarantino clearly saw the funny side of the whole scenario, recalling, “The f—ing guy who did Last House on the Left walked out? The guy who did Last House on the Left, my movie’s too tough for him.”
When you disturb a mind as notably twisted as Craven's, you know you've done something right... or wrong. It's hard to tell.
