4. Wentworth Miller - Chris Redfield

Hey Hollywood, if you need to cast characters that are known for having arms the size of cows taped together, don't cast the weedy dude from Prison Break.

Now, Prison Break love aside (apart from those first two seasons, anyway), Redfield's inclusion in the Resi movie-verse came just after he'd been completely redesigned for Resident Evil 5. The new Chris was a hulking brute of a man who'd eventually go on to bunch a boulder to pieces in pursuit of Albert Wesker, but the movie incarnation? He... was quite partial to scanning the room like a cat, sitting down or advancing ever-so-slowly forward with a pistol - providing the other characters entered the next room first.

I'm not saying Roidy Redfield was a brilliant redesign, but I am saying there wasn't a single common thread between these two outside of their names.
