8 Speculated Plot Points We'll See In Batman VS Superman

2. Enemies No More

wdddwd Batman and Superman resolve their conflict towards each other. Whether or not Batman actually trusts Superman now is up in the air. In some stories they part as friends, other times Batman leaves ninja style, but eventually they become allies. The important thing is that Batman now trusts Superman, at least a little bit, and that Superman is now sworn to saving every life possible. Hopefully we'll get a scene where Superman insists on giving Batman a piece of kryptonite to tell him that he was right, and to keep that in case of an emergency. Or we will get a scene where Superman tells Batman to keep the kryptonite he already has, and Batman will say he was planning on it. Mentioned earlier in this article was a hope that Superman would not get the chance to see beneath Batman's cowl. That was a set up for this potential scene. Superman asks for Batman's true identity, and Batman asks why he doesn't just use his x-ray vision. This will shock Superman at first, because how does he know that he's got x-ray vision? However, Superman laughs it off, because what doesn't this guy know? Supes tells Bats that it's the gesture that's important, that he trusts him now, and it would nice to have a token in exchange. Batman pulls his cowl to reveal--someone other than the Bruce Wayne shown earlier! He introduces himself as Robin John Blake, or perhaps Terry McGuinness, or Dick Grayson. So long as it's someone that could canonically/logically be Batman. This will then give the Batman reboots an immediate momentum. Depending on whomever it is will set up the direction that the reboots go in. For example, if John Blake, we're keeping the Nolan trilogy going. If Dick Grayson, then maybe we'll see a Batman Incorporated style movie coming (very unlikely). If Terry McGuinness, we'll see a Batman Beyond style movie, whose super-suit might help explain how Batman could fight off Superman.
