8 Upcoming Movies That Had Massive Reshoots

3. Star Wars: Rogue One

The Reshoots: The Internet went into full-on panic mode after recent reports surfaced that Rogue One hasn't been test-screening well with audiences, and up to 40% of the film was to be reshot over 4-5 weeks in order to lighten the film's tone, with Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation's Christopher McQuarrie supervising the shoot.

According to studio sources, though, the reshoots were always in the movie's schedule and largely pertain to fixing some character-centric scenes that are mostly "talking in cockpits". McQuarrie has not been involved in the reshoots in any way, by his own admission.

Will It Be Any Good?: Almost definitely. Whether it lives up to The Force Awakens or not, what we've seen so far looks terrific, and with a cast this incredible, it's hard to believe the movie being bad even if it's not as good as some are hoping for. Don't panic about those reshoots.
