9 Horror Movie Franchises That Literally Do The Same Thing Repeatedly

3. Wrong Turn - Saw Tooth And One Eye

Starting in 2003 and six films in with one more confirmed to be on the horizon, Wrong Turn has established itself as the most successful bloody slasher series. As the name suggests, each Wrong Turn revolves around a group of would-be victims that stumble upon a family of deformed cannibalistic killers in the wilderness after taking a detour.

Three Finger is the only one of these cannibalistic killers to appear in every film in the franchise at the time of writing, however his brothers, Saw Tooth and One Eye, have managed to sneak into four of the six and their origins have been hammered home time after time in every title they appear in.

The similarities extend further than just the characters and similar plots however, with the series attempting to cram in as many kills as possible from the same collection of archaic weapons.

The trope that these cannibalistic killers are so backwards and have been camped out in the rural wilderness is really hammered home by the fact that almost every kill in the franchise is done with either a bow and arrow, machete or some elaborate trap fashioned together with basic materials.
