Over the past few years, Escape Room has really made a name for itself as a franchise. It appeals to the same problem-solving parts of the brain that Squid Game's playground puzzles activate, and like the series also sees a group of strangers band together under unlikely circumstances.

After solving a puzzle, each of a group of teenagers are invited to compete in an escape room experience in order to be in for a chance of winning $10,000. All from vastly different backgrounds, the gang are brought together trying to escape each section of the large, maze-like facility. Needless to say, when trying to survive the tensions are high and people are lost along the way.
