4. Most Of The Best Bits Were In The Trailers

The comedy genre like no other frequently shoves the best gags in the trailers, and that's certainly true here. From the death of Justin Bieber to the Benedict Cumberbatch cameo, Mugatu's awesome body suit and beyond, a lot of the big laughs have been given away for free, and little of what remains matches up to those gags we've already seen a dozen times. That's not to say that the film doesn't have its surprises (and more on them in a moment), but if you're expecting iconic laughs on the level of the first film, you're probably going to feel supremely let down. Do yourself a favour and, if you've not seen the trailers recently, don't watch them again before you see the film.
