6. Darly Hannah - Blade Runner

Blade Runner's most famous unscripted moment comes with Rutger Hauer invented Roy Batty's "tears in rain" monologue and it's quite inevitable that that gets the most attention when people bring the film up in retrospect. But what about Daryl Hannah's incredible commitment to staying in character despite the fact that she basicalyl smashed her elbow accidentally.

When Hannah's Pris is startled by JF Sebastian she initially tries to run away and slips, crashing into a van parked at the end of the alleyway she was hiding in. She thuds into it and smashes the window but soldiers on through the scene, because she's a replicant and that sort of thing only bothers people with funny bones.

But it turns out the smash led to Hannah chipping her elbow in EIGHT places and badly cutting it to the point that she required eight stitches. And when you watch it back, there's not even a flicker...
