9 Ways DC Could Respond To Spider-Man Joining The MCU

9. Bring Those Release Dates Forward

Filming on Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice concluded in 2014, yet you won€™t see the film until spring 2016. With Marvel now releasing a couple of movies a year at the same time as it expands into television, there€™s no chance anyone€™s going to forget about that studio; meanwhile, Warner Bros. hasn€™t had a release out of its own DC movie universe since 2013€™s Man Of Steel. Man Of Steel is, FYI, the only DC Cinematic Universe movie from Warner Bros, compared to the ten Marvel has already released (it€™ll be 12 by the time Batman V Superman, only the second DC movie-verse film, comes out). Marvel€™s established dominance over the major forms of media at the moment makes Warner Bros. and DC look like pretenders - so why not take the Spider-Man news as an incentive to bring that Batman V Superman release forward to 2015 as a statement, and get a shift on with production of those other films? DC can€™t possibly lag behind any longer, not if it expects to stay in this fight with Marvel.
